Ben Asher - Bass, vocals

Deeply steeped in the rock tradition of his ancestors, Ben hails from England. Growing up in a passionately musical family, he learned to play several instruments at an early age. Having moved to London in the early sixties he was profoundly influenced by attending concerts of such greats as The Who, Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton & Cream, John Mayall & the Blues Breakers and many others.

His cousin, Peter, became internationally known in the duo, Peter & Gordon and later went on to manage James Taylor & Linda Rondstadt. Growing up Ben was also lucky enough to meet the Beatles (through Peter's sister, Jane), and dine at Paul McCartney's house. He also belonged to the fashionable 'Speakeasy' club in London at a time when it was frequented by many rock stars of the era.

Now happily married with two children, Ben lives in North Caldwell, New Jersey. He says of his involvement with the band, "This is truly what I love to do and I hope it shows in my playing".
