Born in Ridgewood, NJ, started on organ at age 5, picked up piano, guitar, & bass later on. Played all these instruments in all types of bands: jazz, rock, R&B, avant-garde, bluegrass, etc, through grade school and beyond. Studied church organ at Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ. Employed as organist and choir director at Calvary Lutheran Church, Verona, NJ. Formerly Organist at Upper Ridgewood Community Church in Ridgewood, NJ, for 21 years.

Has performed on and off Broadway, in "Smokey Joe's Café", "Leader of the Pack', and "Just Once".

Recording: self-produced/written CDs, "The Record People Are Coming" (1996) and "Acid Cabaret" (2002). Keyboards and writing for "Bob's Diner", fusion band led by trombonist Bob Smith. CD released in 1989 on DMP label; substantial airplay on CD 101.9, and many NY gigs sponsored by that station. Followup album in 1990: "The Bob Smith Band", also on DMP. Piano/vocals/arranging on Jerry Vivino album on DMP, "Something Borrowed, Something Blue".

Worked as Product Manager for CASIO KEYBOARDS from 1986 - 2002, where duties included: product support, composing demo songs and accompaniment patterns, advertising, demonstrations, training. Still playing all types of gigs regularly, with 'The Kootz' as well as 'Acid Cabaret', others and as a solo act. He can be caught locally, frequently performing at a variety of New York and Northern New Jersey-area clubs.
