Christopher Bolger - Guitar, bass, vocals

A Newark, NJ native, Christopher Bolger was born in 1957... and as he puts it..."Came into this world with nearly the perfect timing to experience the 'Golden Era' of Rock 'n Roll". Selling off his prized Lionel model train collection at the ripe old age of 13, Chris purchased his first guitar. Unfortunately (for him) Chris played this new instrument so incessantly that his Dad finally reached the 'breaking point' (literally) and smashed it into silence... (he didn't realize Pops was a Who fan)... Chris was heavily influenced musically by the 'British Invasion' of the early 60's... Among his favorites was Badfinger's 'No Matter What'. He fondly refers to that song as "A mental blueprint for the perfect blend of Pop and Rock".

Through the ensuing years Chris has played with a multitude of Jersey-area bands, including stints with R. Stevie Moore, The Pirhana Brothers, Big Bang Theory, The Nairobi Trio as well as the Reckless Penguins. Chris is the resident guitar 'ho of all the 'Kootzmen'.... He seems to show up with a new guitar rig at every gig! Through the years he's bought and sold a 'ton of guitars' and has played a bunch of dives, although he claims that there were 'a few nice venues' sprinkled in... Chris is married with two great kids and currently resides in Essex County, NJ. . He now lives by this simple code; "I'm too old to live fast, die young or leave a good-looking corpse.... So I may as well keep having fun doing this".

Incidentally, Chris's Mom was sure this was just going to be a 'phase' he went through... To that, Chris offers.. "SORRY MOM!".
